I was born and raised in the South, and received all of my medical training in that part of the country before moving to Arizona in 2003. I began practicing breastfeeding medicine in addition to well and sick pediatric care in 2009. Much of my free time is spent helping 14,000+ physician mothers in the group I founded that same year, called Dr. MILK®. In 2010, I received my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certification.
I live in Scottsdale with my two school aged children and our two cats. On the weekends, I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities, and I volunteer as a trail steward in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. I enjoy caring for children of all ages, from preventative medicine visits to treating acute and chronic conditions. I am at the Chandler location five days a week, and look forward to working with families in the East Valley.
