Frequently Asked Questions
Who should attend?
The 4th Trimester Arizona Conference is for all parents and those who support them. That includes physicians, physical therapists, community health workers, doulas, counselors, midwives, researchers, and more. During this summit you’ll gain insight into how our bodies, minds, desires and aspirations and lives change when we have babies, and how we can support ourselves and each other through this journey. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions specific to your situation, and network with local parents and professionals.
How much will it cost to register?
We want this opportunity to be accessible to all families and those who support them. That’s why we’ve set the cost of the full day, 20 session Conference at only $25. The generosity of our sponsors makes the Conference admission free for low income families with WIC or AHCCCS.
How is this different from other conferences or summits?
This is the only event that focuses on the mental, physical and emotional health of parents. While many events are focused on supporting children and families, we recognize that children need healthy parents to thrive, and so we focus on supporting parents wherever they are at. You won’t encounter this breadth of perspective anywhere else. We’re also completely focused on Arizona, making the discussions and networking highly relevant to local families
Is this just another online presentation I have to sit through? I have serious Zoom fatigue.
The 4th Trimester AZ Conference isn’t just another online conference. It’s an interactive event designed to encourage deep conversations and build new relationships among parents, families and providers. You’ll be able to reach out to other attendees for informal discussions and networking just like you do at in-person events.
How do I earn CEUs?
Certificates of attendance (CEUs) for professional development hours will be available following the 4th Trimester Arizona Conference after completion of a short evaluation. (The 4th Trimester Arizona Conference is approved for six (6) continuing education hours. Certificates of attendance will be provided for submission to your respective credentialing agencies.)"
